Kyun ek pal ki bhi judaai sahi jaaye na

Kyun har subah tu meri sanson me samaye na

Aaja na tu mere paas, dunga itna pyar main

Kitni raat guzaari hai, tere intezar mein

Kaise bataaun jazbaat ye mere

Maine khud se bhi zyada tujhe chaaha hai

Sab kuch chhod ke aana tu, sawan aaya hai

Tere aur mere milne ka, mausam aaya hai

Sabse chhupa ke tujhe seene se lagaana hai

Pyar mein tere hadd se guzar jaana hai

Itna pyar kisi pe, pehli baar aaya hai...

Two weeks later ~

"Gauri come on do you really have to go !" Aditya said like a little kid trying to convince me to stay .

"Aditya i wouldn't have been packing my bags if it wouldn't have been important !" I said folding my shirt and keeping it in the bag when he held my wrist sitting up on the bed .

"I am not saying that you shouldn't go ! But why now ?" He said cribbing like a little kid whose toy had gotten lost.

"Why ? What's now ?" I asked him arching my eyebrows trying to act confused even though I knew what he exactly meant but still tried to act clueless and he sulked.

"What happened ? Is something wrong ?" I asked him trying to act like i knew nothing but inside I was chuckling because I knew what exactly he meant .

"No nothing ! I am a cardiosurgeon and I am the one who treats people's hearts and today you broke my heart !"He said sulking and giving me a mocking smile .

"Wait ! Let me get you some bandages ! Go and join the pieces of your heart !" I said looking at him with a straight face like i was going to say something meaningful but said this and he looked at me in disgust.

"Why does it feel like the roles are now reversed ! Weren't you the cold one and I the caring one !" He said dropping himself on the bed again .

"I am still cold , just not in front of you all maa papa and bhai - bhabhi and obviously my baby - chaarvi !"I said pressuring the last word because by the last I was very much sure that this man was one of the most jealous man I had ever met .

"You know that I can now make your tricks really well ! So trying to make me jealous by using chaarvi's name doesn't work anymore !" He said and i gave him a teasing smile and closed my suitcase.

"So you really are leaving ?" He said getting up and standing in front of me .

"I have to and yeah done blame me , it's your work that doesn't allow you to take any holidays !" I said snapping at him .

"Because my work is like that gauri ! It's really important and I can't risk any lives at any cost !"He said intervening his fingers with mine .

"Aditya ! Who is saying that you should risk anyone's lives and life is a very priceless thing and if you can help someone find a way to live a new life then I don't think that there's anything better than that !" I said looking straight into his eyes and they are always so calm and so beautiful.

If his eyes were the ocean then i would have gladly drowned in them !..

"Yeah ! It really is and that's what I do , i cure people !" He said looking at me .

"Just like you cured me ?.." I said and he smiled at my words .

"No you deserved and got better care and your cure was not medicines but love that was all that was needed to cure you !" He said looking at me still smiling .

"But that is priceless too ! You can buy medicines from money but you can't buy love ? Or can you ?.." I asked .

"True love ? No ! Materialistic love ?Yeah !" He replied and i smiled at his words .

"So which one fits for me ! Mr doctor !!..I asked and he replied with that Cresent-like smile never leaving his face .

"My love !!" He Said and i hugged him ...

Aditya's pov -

"If she was the stars then i would have for sure wanted to mend that distance between us ..!!"

Mine and gauri's anniversary was coming up and i wanted her to be with me for this day but her work and she doesn't even remember it !...

I can't believe it's been a whole year of us trying to mend our differences !

"Gauri ! You have to go tomorrow right ?" I asked a fully focused gauri who was fully focused in doing her work with her files fully scattered on the floor and her spectacles falling a little low from her nose with those little strands of her hair peeping from the side .

"Yeah ! Why ? What happened ?" She asked still focused on her work.

"I was thinking that you are leaving so let's go out today!"I said and she looked up at me.

"Aditya i am literally going for a mere three days , not forever !" She said looking at me in disbelief.

"I know but is there any problem if i want to take my wife out ?" I said trying to act flirty but earned another look from her .

"Okay ! We will ! Happy now ?" She asked and i just passed her a smile and a little flirty looks and she looked at me in disbelief.

"Where should I go and dispose you ?" She said facepalming herself .

"I am ready to even accompany you to hell if you are with me !" I said and she looked at me nodding her head in disbelief and knowing that she can't win from me today .

Some hours later -

"Aditya i look ugly !" She said and i snapped looking at her .

"Who said that ?" I asked her .

"Me !" She said pointing to herself.

"No way ! You look like the most beautiful woman in the world and i was actually just wondering why miss universe hasn't approached you yet ! I mean look at you , you are like a work of art !" I said boosting her confidence and she laughed making a smile also make it's way to my lips .

In the car ~ Gauri's pov

"Here !" Aditya said passing me my favourite icecream but today i couldn't even stand the smell of it .

"Take it away from me !" I said and he looked at me concerned.

"Did something happen to you ? You have been acting weirdly the whole past week !"He said and i nodded my head as a no .

"No ! Nothing has happened to me and the fact that even i can't make out what is wrong with me is just irritating me so much !" I said frustrated.

"Are you sure you are okay ?" He asked.

"I guess so !"I said passing him a little smile and he looked at me passing me a smile too .

In the morning ~

"I will miss you !" He said hugging me from behind and looking at me from the mirror.

"I will miss you too but that doesn't mean that you are gonna call me a hundred times in a day !"I said and he hugged me more tightly.

"Why ? Can't i ! I want to hear your voice , it brightness up my day !"He said and i smiled before answering.

"Sure ! Sure !" I said mockingly and he looked up again sulking .

"It's okay i will just listen to your voice recording!" He said and i looked at him from the mirror with a confused expression.

"Voice recording ?" I asked and he looked at me .

"Yeah I have dozens of your voice recordings ! Most of them are when you sing or just you blabbering !" He said and i looked at him from the mirror.

"As if my wallpaper on your phone and laptop wasn't enough !" I said mockingly smiling.

"Nothing seems to be enough to me if it has you in it !" He said and turned me and looked into my eyes for i don't know how long , i too lost track of time from the second his eyes met mine .
