Aditya's pov ~
"Gauri ! Remember that we are husband and wife and you can't commit a crime by killing your own husband!" I said and she replied humming giving a dry response.
"Aditya play fair or you are sleeping on the couch for the rest of your life !"She said giving me a death glare and i gulped.
"You are killing me if I win anyways only so better be that !" I said and she looked up at me with a death glare .
"Now that's what you call digging your own grave !" I mumbled to myself and she looked up again .
"Did you say something ?" She asked and i in a second responsed shaking my head in response.
So to give you all context ! I made the worst decision of my life by asking her to play chess with me ! She is the most competitive person I have ever met ! She has been so focused on the game that now it is scaring me !..

LOST ....
Yeah she didn't know how to play but still was so so competitive and but i don't have the guts to say that to her let's just be honest do I wanna die ! No right so then why would I take this step !..
"This game is faulty ! I can't lose !" She said sulking and leaning back on her chair .
"Yeah you can't lose ! Bad game !" I said sarcastically only to earn a side eye from her .
"Bad timing !" I said scrunching my nose and she nodded .
"Very bad to be precise!" She said and got up and went from there ..
Some time later ~ Gauri's pov
How can he win ! I am sure he cheated ! Bloody cheater ! I was busy cursing aditya for something he didn't even know and I knew that it was probably because i didn't know how to play but let's just be honest here can I ever accept that i did something wrong or i lost ! These words are just not in my dictionary !...
I was busy in my thoughts when a knock interuppted my thoughts!...
"Come in !" I said still staring at the ceiling.
"Looks like someone has absolutely no work to do except lashing out on her employees !" I heard a voice way to familiar but how could he be here .
I looked ahead and found him ! He sat across me on the chair keeping his car keys down on the table and i looked at him suspiciously.
"Why are you here ?" I asked him arching my eyebrows at him trying to probably scare him .
"Can't i be here ! You can invade my work space but I can't ! I thought it was time to even out the scores so yeah !" He replied and i rolled my eyes .
"You know that's very nice of you to say ! But i still didn't get the answer to my question!" I said giving him a side eye again .
"It is ! And yeah that not gonna work on me ! Trust me I have been bearing you for so long now that these looks don't scare me anymore !" He said and i looked at him teasingly.
"So that means at a point of time I did actually scare you ?" I asked him arching my eyebrows in amusement.
"Yeah when i first met you ! " He said and one part of my felt achieved.
"And i thought that you were a jerk !" I said and his neck Snapped to listen to what I was gonna say .
"Why ?" He asked .
"Oh yeah sorry for that some correction is needed ! I still think that you are jerk !" I said with a straight face but I was laughing inside .
"You know my laugh was just way up my throat but after hearing this it suicided by jumping back !" He said being so done with me .
"Very funny !" I said and he looked at me nodding like he totally agreed with me .
"By the way why are you here ? Got any work ?" I asked him typing something on my computer trying to look serious.
"I know that you are not typing anything but instead just trying to make it show like you are very serious and busy !" He said and i was shocked.
Can he read my mind or what ? I thought to myself looking at him like he was some antique piece .
"Yes I can read your mind !" He said and i became more and he laughed at my shocked face .
"Come on let's go somewhere!" He said .
"Can't you see that i am busy ! I am not free like you !" I said and he looked at me offended.
"I take that back ! I am not free at the moment like you are !" I said and he now looked satisfied.
"Okay as you say sweetheart !" He said and i smiled .
"Now do you say this because your mind suffers from autocorrect or you just -
"I actually mean it when I call you that !" He said and i tried not to blush but I did because this man's words are enough to make me blush everytime he speaks .
"Now get lost ! I have work and I am sure you have work too !" I said and he looked at me and then nodded .
"Bye Mrs Saini ! Meet you at night !" He said and winked and i gave him a disgusted look .
He left and I completely diverted my focus to the computer because I had tons of work but at first his thoughts were not letting me work and now he the man himself didn't let me work !
"Okay gauri ! We have work except thinking about that man !" I motivated myself and started to work .
At night ~ Gauri's pov
I was back a little early but the whole House's lights were off for some reason then i remembered that maa told me in the morning that all of them were going to go out at night !
I went to the room and switched on the lights and kept my bag on the table and made my way to the bed but halted my steps after seeing a package , a bouquet and a package there !
I picked up the letter that was attached on top of the package and flipped it and opened it ..
I am not here I am already there waiting for you ! Get ready and meet me at ********** ! I will be waiting Mrs Saini ! I wonder how beautiful you will look in my choice ... !

This man i tell you ! Always giving me surprises every single time but what can I say I love his cute little suprises they always give me the warmth and the love that I never experienced ! I never thought that i would met someone who would make me feel magical like i was stuck in a trance or something ! It still feels like a dream rather that a reality ...
It's like the dream that i never want to wake up from and the reality i don't want to ever escape from ....
I opened the package and it was a simple yet elegant red dress ! His obsession of the red on me and my obsession with these dresses !...
I went ahead and changed smiling the whole time ! Smile never left my face and i just wasn't able to belive but still this was the reality and even if it's still a dream I want this dream to play like a audiobook again and again and i swear that I will never get bored of it .
I got ready and went downstairs locked the door , got in the car and drove to the address on the letter !..
I was nervous for some reason even though this was my husband !
I reached there but the whole place was piched black but as soon as I got down and walked a few steps the lights came on and my phone rang the exact second.
"So now we are playing hide and seek ? Are we !" I asked picking up the car .
"You tell me ! Are we ?" He asked on the call .
"I think we are ! Are you perhaps scared of me that you have to now hide from me !" I said smiling.
"I didn't say that did i ?" He said on the call .
"But i thought that!" I said and he replied.
"Whatever makes you happy !" He said and i smiled against the phone .
"Now come out I am not going to kill you !" I said but i didn't get any answer from the other side but i still kept talking .
"So tell me is this something like a date or something!" I asked on the call walking ahead as i stopped at a place where there were two chairs , a table and they were all red .
"Exactly like a date sweetheart!" I heard the response but not from the phone but form behind me and i turned back ....
