Aditya's pov -
I was talking to some guests but my whole attention was on the staircase waiting for gauri to show up when bhai called me so I had to go with him .
When i returned everyone was there but gauri was still not there . I was about to go upstairs to check if something was wrong but then i saw her from a distance.
She was trying to wear her jhumka coming downstairs from the stairs .
My breath hitched and my whole world halted . She was wearing an elegant yet simple lehenga and she was looking mesmerizing . No words were escaping from my mouth ! I was completely focused on her and ever since then her in that lehenga is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life .
She was wearing a simple necklace with matching earrings ! Her hair tied up in a bun with some strands falling down on her beautiful face !
She looked unreal ! She was reflecting more than light itself ! My only ray of light even after there were so many lights in that room !
She looked up and her eyes fell on me ! She smiled while her eyes hovered over me looking at me from up to toe ! She was about to come towards but before she could have sanjivini bhabhi came in the way and took her away !
I sulked because before I could have even talked to her sanjivini bhabhi took her somewhere, but I know she must have took her to introduce her to the guests !
Gauri's pov -
Ughhh ! I dressed up like this for this man and I couldn't even get to see his whole reaction to it !
( An - So you accept that you wore this dress for him ? :) Gauri - shut up !)
" Gauri I forgot chaarvi's bottle in my room ! Can you got upstairs and fetch it please ?" Sanjivini bhabhi said and nodded and i left to get chaarvi's bottle from upstairs.
I went upstairs and picked up the bottle and as i was turning around to go back downstairs someone held me from my waist and pinned me to the room's door .
"Ah - Aditya ? What are you doing here ?" I asked him .
"Well it looked like they were not going to leave you alone for some hours atleast and do you really seriously think that my heart will be able to see you standing so far away from me wearing that dress ! Hell no ! " He said and i chuckled at his statement.
"Who said I will away from you ?" I asked him .
"No one can tell me that and even if they do I am not paying heed to a single word they say but if it's you then i would rather prefer not existing than not being able to talk or stare at you for as long as I can !" He said looking straight into my eyes .
"Nobody is stopping you !" I replied with a husky and whispering tone .
"Because they can't ! " He replied in his as usual deep as ocean voice .
"You will get eventually bored after staring at me for sometime !" I said looking at him .
"Never ! I can never ! Even if you stay silent , even if you say nothing , even if you don't talk to me I would still look at you like i never want to look away and i want no distruptions when I am staring at you because in my eyes the moon looks dull infront of you !" He said and i smiled at his words .
"You always have one way or the other to fluster on your words ? How do you even manage to do that ?" I asked him .
"I don't know ! I don't preplan any of this but when I see you all these words just automatically makes sense !" He said and i again smiled .
"You know you should have been a poet you would have made great money out of it !" I said looking at him .
"I don't think so because this poetic side of mine only unleashes when you are around ! You eyes are intoxicating and the way you talk , the way you make me feel i can't express it into words because i don't think that any word can do justice to what I think about you !" He said and i looked at him and there was just one question lingering inside my head ..
What did i ever do to deserve him ??..
"What are you thinking about ?" He asked and i snapped out of my imaginary world and to be honest this world was much better than that imaginary world ...
I never knew that what i imagined could actually turn into something that would not feel less than a dream ! His presence just makes this dream just so pure and if this all a dream then please I never want to wake up ..
"Now leave me before someone comes up !" I said but instead he came even closer .
"So what ? I don't think that we need to explain anyone as to what we are to each other ?" He said in a husky tone .
He pulled me closer and lifted my chin up by his index finger making me look straight into his eyes !
"You know that red is the colour of danger !" He said and i looked at him confused.
"Yes I know ! What about it ?" I asked him .
"And you in red is a dangerous thing !looks like this colour was actually made for you ! Sweetheart !" He said
Uggh ! I I know that I have gotten myself into this mess , myself only but ! Uggh ! Does he have to call me sweetheart ? There are so many names that he could call me from but he had to choose sweetheart ! This name just has a different effect on me everytime I hear it i blush and this was the first time he had called me by that name in real face to face and uggh ! This man I tell you !
"Stop calling me that !" I said giving him a sharp look and he chuckled .
"You thinking that I am gonna get scared by this look of yours is just so adorable !" He said but I jerked off his hand .
"Don't aww me everytime ! It doesn't fit in every situation !" I said like a little angry kid and he smiled looking at me .
"You - Before he could have said anything I heard chaarvi call me and I threw him off of me !
"Chachi everyone is asking for you !" Chaarvi said coming towards me .
"Yea- yeah I am coming ! Come on let's go !" I turned to her and held her hand but before leaving the room I took one last glance at aditya who I had just pushed away from me .
Aditya's pov -
These people of my family are the best at third wheeling me and her ! Specially this little doll , she always comes and takes her away from me ! Bad kid ! I sulked because she always ruin our moments ..
( An - It seems like you are the one acting like a kid here ! Aditya - shut up ! An - mujhe kyu todda ?? )
I went downstairs and found her talking with some of the guests ! With how I was staring at her and taking glances at her if she would have not been my wife someone would have for sure filled a case of eve teasing on me for sure !
"Aditya - aditya !" One of my cousin brothers called me .
"Yea- yeah !" I replied.
"I get it that you are in love but atleast stay in this world ! You don't need to travel to another world while staring at her !" He said laughing and high fiving Bhai .
"You know i won't any problem in doing that too !" I said and all if them looked at me in disbelief .
( In short words this man is whipped for her !)
Later that same night - Gauri's pov -
I went upstairs and took off the heavy jewellery even though I was not wearing a lot but still i found it difficult to carry those pieces of jewelry ! I went ahead and changed and was right now standing in front of the mirror taking my makeup off .
When i saw his reflection in the mirror !
"What do you want !" I asked him .
"I just realised something !" He said .
"What ?" I asked .
"All of them had a couples dance but we didn't !" He said and i looked at him from the mirror .
"Because I was with chaarvi !" I said and he looked Jealous ?...
"Yeah where else would you be !" He said scoffing and i turned around to face him .
"Aditya are you seriously jealous of your own neice who supposedly is also a kid !" I said looking at him in disbelief .
"So what ? She is stealing you !" He said like a little kid .
"I refuse to believe that you are grown ass man !" I said turning back looking in the mirror .
"So I do ! But wait we can have our dance here too !" He said with joy lighting up his face .
"I am sorry ! In pyjamas ?" I asked him.
"Yeah so what ? It's not like we are 24/7 dressed up in fancy clothes anyways so does it really matter ?" He said and i looked at him .
"Well you are not wrong !" I said .
"Then may I have your hand mi lady !" He said and i smiled and gave him my hand .
"Alexa play janam janam from dilwale " ! ..
The were only sounds of laughter escaping their mouths and to that night ..
"They danced the night away !"
