Gauri's pov
I went ahead and took a bath ! I changed and went outside ! I opened the drawer and took the bottle of disinfectantant out and tries to put in on my wounds but i couldn't reach some of the wounds ! I was standing backfacing the mirror trying to put the disinfectant on the wound when suddenly aditya held my hand and took the cotton from my hand and turned me so that now i was facing the mirror he looked at me from the mirror ! I could feel his breath on my neck !
"Who did this to you !" He asked me and i could sense the darkness in his voice but also the concern in his voice.
"Whatever it was it's now over !" I said and he stopped from applying the disinfectant and turned me back . Now i was facing him and then he caged me between his arms and the dressing table .
"What are you doing ?"I asked him looking straight into his eyes .
"You told me that you were afraid about something and that they might kill you ! Tell me who this ' they ' were !" He asked me moving his face more closer to me .
"What's the need for asking me ?" I asked him .
"Your eyes only tell me what i want to know ! They don't tell me what you feel ! I want to know everything about you and only you ! Not your brother , not your father , not Sakshi ! You think that i don't know what your father has done to you since your childhood ! I know more than you think ! I knew all those things you told me that day but i wanted you to tell me that ! I don't know how i can put into words how much i was worried , scared that something might have happened to you ! I blamed myself every single second that maybe if i was there with you ! You would have been there with me !"He said with tear glincing eyes .
"Aditya ! You didn't have to blame yourself !" I said looking at him .
"I don't know ! All i know is that when i look into those eyes of yours i want them to never get wet with tears ! When i look at your smile i feel like i have everything i want ! I don't know what this feeling is ! Your smile strengthens me ! I see a hope in your eyes ! I don't care what the world thinks about you or me but all i know is that i want you to be with me ! I feel like promising you that i won't go anywhere even if i die i will always be there like the rain ! Every droplet of rain that falls on your face will be the amount of tears i will be shedding knowing that i can't be with you anymore ! You made me forget all my pains and you are teaching me how to live but i don't think you realise that my life now has your name embedded in it !" He said looking at me with soft eyes and i chuckle at his words .
"Aditya ! Are you in love with me or something ?"I asked him chuckling at his words .
"I don't know ! I seriously don't know ! If this feeling is love then i am head over heels in love with you !" He said and my face turned blank as i had no words .
"Adi-!" I was still processing what he had just said when he moved away from me .
"You don't have to say anything ! I don't need an answer all i need is a smile on your face !" He said and kept the cotton on the table .
"I wanted to ask you something!"He said .
"Ye- ah ! What is it ?" I asked him .
"My friend is hosting a party tomorrow ! He asked us to bring our partner ! So are you free !"He asked me .
"No ! I have work ! Sorry !" I replied and he hummed and left from there .
The next day ~
I was sitting on my chair in the cabin working but my whole focus was on aditya and his words ! I was so confused and was still processing when he asked me if i wanted to tag along with him ! Couldn't he have asked later ! Now i am feeling bad for saying no to him .
I was still thinking when suddenly i figured out that maybe someone at home knows where this friend's party is so i went back home .
I entered the house only to find no one there i get it ! It was work time but where was nandini aunty ! I looked over at the kitchen and found her there so i kept my bag and went to her in the kitchen.
"Hi ! How are you ?" I asked her and she looked at me confused.
"Spill it !" She said looking at me .
"What ?"I asked her confused.
"What do you want to know gauri" ! She asked me smiling at me ! She caught me .
"I wanted to know where aditya went ! I don't mean it like that i just want to know for knowledge! Yeah knowledge!"I said smiling a little .
"Atleast learn how to lie ! You are terrible at it plus you don't have to act like this he is your husband if you won't ask where he is then who will !" She said looking at me .
"Okay ! Now tell me where he is ?" I asked her .
"He went to his friends party !" She replied .
"I know that ! What's the address?" I asked her .
"************** !" She replied sighing looking at my curious face .
"Thanku aunty !" I said and hugged her lightly from the side and she chuckled hugging me back to me .
"Stop it with this aunty of yours ! Call me maa !"She said and i looked at her and then hugged her again but this time a little more tightly and smiled .
"Bye maa !" I said and ran upstairs from there and she chuckled .
I don't know what the dress code is but i always wanted to wear a saree so why not ! But wait i don't know who to tie it ! I held it up and tried to find where it started and where it ended because there was absolutely no difference.
I thought about asking for help from maa but figured that she may be busy but i have seen sanjivini bhabhi wear sarees before so i went to her room with the saaree and knocked.
"Hi ! I need your help !"I said smiling a little and she looked at me as if she has seen a ghost .
"You ? Need My help ?"She asked me with widened eyes .
"Yeah ! I need your help in wearing this saree !" I replied and she chuckled and i took her to my room and she helped me wear it !
"Okay how do I know that i won't die wearing this ! He better give me a good compliment or i will end him !"I whispered to myself in a low voice looking at myself in the mirror but turned around when i heard sanjivini bhabhi and chaarvi chuckle .
"Gauri ! Aditya is gonna die looking at you !" Sanjivini bhabhi said and i picked up my purse and phone .
"Bye ! See you later ! Thank you so so much ! "I said and she gave me a thumbs up and i left from there and found the place where that party was .
Meanwhile ~
Aditya's pov -
"Aditya ! I thought we were bringing our wives! Where is your wife ?" He asked me and i thought about what excuse to make before telling the.
"She- !"
"She is here !" One of my friends said .
"No she is at home !" I replied.
"No aditya look behind you she is here !"She said and i looked behind and what i saw was something i never would have expected.
Gauri ! That too in a saaree ! In a red saaree ! I swear this woman will be death of me ! How is she looking so gorgeous!
I looked at her and she smiled at me ! My heart fluttered so fast that i was difficult to contain it ! She looked so beautiful that my breath clenched looking at her ! The way that saaree complimented her body was just so beautiful! She looked like she was and ethereal goddess in that saaree ! Word s can't express how beautiful she looked in my eyes .
"Hi ! I am gauri ! Aditya's wife !" She said shaking one of my friends wife's hand .
"Yeah ! My wife !" I looked at her and smiled . Everyone greeted her and then left from there .
"How are you here ?" I asked her wondering how she was here .
"That's for you to figure out !" She said smiling at me .
"How did you wear a saaree ?" I asked her looking at her from head to toe .
"That's a secret !" She replied in a low voice and i looked at her in denail as she chuckled.
"You look magnificent ! It looks like this saaree was made for you ! Most importantly you look like mine Mrs Saini !" I said and she looked at me and chuckled .
"Aditya ! Gauri ! Come here !"My friend nityash called us .
"Chale ?"I asked her offering my hand .
( Shall we go ? )
"Chalo !" She replied smiling and accepting my hand and i side hugged her .
