"I want to tell you that i am afraid ! That they might kill me ! They will kill me aditya ! I don't want to die i want to stay here with you !" Gauri said in a low voice and then when i turned back to look at her but she was asleep.
I bent down to her level and caressed her hair pulling the covers on her when a smile formed on my face looking at her cute sleeping figure.
"Don't worry i won't let anything happen to you ! If anyone wants to reach you they will have to go through me first !" I said smiling looking at her sleeping figure and then got up from her level .
The next day ~
Gauri's pov -
I reached my office and went straight to my cabin when sakshi came barging inside the cabin.
"Gauri ! What's up with you ? Where were you the previous night huh ? You know how worried aditya was ? He called me ten times !" Sakshi said and i looked up to her arching my eyebrows in confusion.
"Aditya ? He called you ? Where was i ? Ohh shit ! He picked me up i thought it was you ! Why do I have to get myself embarrassed by him again and again ! God !" I said scorching my head in furstration .
I don't know what happens to me . But whenever I see him i suddenly start talking for no reason and telling him everything that i would have wanted to hide from even myself. Why do i always have to get embarrassed again and again ??
"What happened you didn't know ? That's so typical of you gauri !" She said sitting on the sofa but then i gave her a death gaze so she got up and left from there closing the door .
It was 1 pm and i was still in my cabin working and focusing on a project when suddenly my room turned pitch black which is very weird We have inverters so it doesn't matter if there is a powercut . I got up with the support of my chair . I was very familiar with the layout of my room so i knew where the door was and where the window was . I stood near the window only to find out that there was a powercut in the whole building . I knew something was very wrong . I reached near my door and twisted the doorknob only to find out that the door was locked from outside .
"I knew it ! I fucking knew it ! I didn't know they could stoop so low !" I said to myself kicking a chair .
I knew this was for sure another one of my family members dirty tricks .
They all very well know that i am claustrophobic . There was no one in the office at that time . I was all alone . I rushed near my table and picked up my phone to call aditya or sakshi but when i picked up the phone the signal was dead and the internet was also not working .
"Fuck you !!!"I shouted and threw my phone on the ground.
I was frustrated . I ran my hand through my hair when a vase fell from near the window . I turned around and pointed my flashlight and there was a visible outline of a person . I picked up a pen from my table and clicked it open when the shadow behind the curtain came out from behind the window . The person was wearing full black clothes with a mask on their face and cap on their head . I moved the flashlight down positioning it so that i could run and try to break open the door but my body froze when i saw a knife in that person's hand .
I ran towards the door and that person ran behind me . Before i could have broken the door which any way would have been impossible that person held my neck and choked me then threw me at the table . That person threw me and my head hit the table's corner and started bleeding . I touched my forehead only to see blood on my fingers .
I got up and hit that person with a glass photo frame . Yes it was mine and aditya's wedding photo frame . I got up trying to run away again but he again caught me from my neck and slammed me down on the table and started to choke me . I was out of breath when he suddenly left my neck and i coughed due to lack of oxygen .
"I can't kill you like this you have to sign these papers first !" He said and threw the papers at my face .
"Over my dead body ! You fucking bastard !"I said still coughing .
"Fine then i guess your thumb print will work too !" He said and picked up a vase and hit me on my head .
I fainted from the sudden impact on my head . That's the last thing i remembered before i lost my consciousness.
Meanwhile - Third person's pov -
Aditya enters the office worried about gauri and rushes up to her cabin only to find it locked from inside . He opens the door and sees everything scattered . Her phone broken and blood marks on her table . He knew something was wrong but this now just gave him that sense of discomfort and fear . The only thing he could think about was if gauri was okay or not or should I say if she was alive or not .
Meanwhile - Gauri's pov -
I opened my eyes only to find my hands and feet tied with ropes . I groaned in frustration when suddenly i looked around the room and became numb . It was my room ! My room when i was young when i was a child .
I knew that this was definitely my so-called father who pulled this dirty trick . I chuckled at my fate . Some kids are adored by their fathers so much that they are ready to die for them and then there's my father who wants to kill me so that he can get my company. I was finding someway to escape when suddenly the door of that opened.
"Gauri my baby ! You are awake!" He said in the same cheeky way he used to call me in when i was young .
"Gauri ! My little girl ! You are awake!"
"What else could i have expected from a person like you !" I said gritting my teeth looking at him with disgust in my eyes .
"Don't forget gauri you have the same blood as me ! You are my blood ! If i can do all this then so can you !" He said looking at me .
"You are a bastard and i am not ! I hope you know the difference ! My mother gave me good parenting guess your mother failed in that !" I said looking at him with eyes flaming in anger . He looked at me with eyes filled with anger.
"Let's make a deal shall we ! You sign the papers and i let you and your little husband live !"He said and i looked at him .
"Aditya ! Try to touch him and i will finish you ! You can guess my behaviour that i am not afraid of you !" I said and he looked at me and then chuckled.
"I don't care about your husband anyways let's get back to topic ! Give me the company and live happily !"He said and i looked at him in disgust.
"Kill me if you want too because that is not gonna happen until I am alive !" I said and he looked at me .
"I didn't know my own blood would be that dirty !" He said .
"What did you expect i am your daughter after all ain't it !" I said mockingly smiling.
"Looks like you are not after anything then i will take your signatures myself !" He said and picked up a brick lying down on the floor ! Before he could have had hit me someone hit him from behind and he dropped down on the floor !
"Atharv !" I said looking at the person who had just him .
"I have had enough of his talks ! First he seperated me from my mother and now he wants do that with you too ! I won't let him do this now !" He said hyperventilating.
"What will you do with him ?" I said asking him and he came and opened the ropes on my leg and hands .
"I will hand him over to the police ! I know all of his bad connections and i have a video of him ! When he was telling me about killing you i recorded that and whatever he said about taking over company !" He said and helped me get up from the chair by supporting me by my shoulders .
"You should get back home before you faint from the blood loss ! Come on i will drop you off !" He said
"No need to give me the keys i will go on my own !"I said .
"No you might faint ! What if you get into an accident ?" He said protesting but i somehow convinced him into giving me his car keys ! He gave me the car keys and i was about to leave when i turned around and called him .
"Atharv !" I said
"Yeah !" He asked
"Thank you Bhai !" I said smiling and saw his eyes fill with tears ! I left from there and sat inside the car ! I moved the mirror and looked at myself ! I took off my coat and my heels ! I rolled my shirt's sleeve and started the car !
I reached the house and entered the house only to find aditya and everyone holding their head .
"Aditya !" I called him and he looked up in a second .
"Gauri !"He came rushing towards me and cupped my cheeks .
"Where were you ? Do you even know how much i was worried about you ? How did you get hurt?"He asked so many questions in one go without any hault .
"I will explain everything later i need to take a rest first !" I said and left from there .

Not lying but i was really sceptical If i should upload this story line or not but let's just trust the process !
