Aditya 's pov
"Adi ! You are going to meet her tomorrow at 12 am at Malabar cafe! It's near your work only ! So be ready on time and wear something else than your operation attire ! " She said while all of us were sitting on the dining table and eating food .
I finished my food and went upstairs and laid down .
"Mom is talking about her so much i wonder who she really is !" I thought to myself and slept.
On the other hand -
Gauri's pov -
"Gauri ! You have to meet him tomorrow at 12 pm at Malabar cafe ! I arranged the meeting so please meet him once ! " Mom informed me that when i was entering home .
I didn't have the appetite to eat so i just went straight to my room and laid down and slept .
In the morning ~
As much as they both didn't want to go for the meet ! They both had to ! He had to go to escape and she had to go because of her mother's wish .
Gauri 's pov -
I have to go because of my mother's wish just for the sake of her happiness even though I didn't want to go as this marriage and all ate the last thing on my bucket list ! I wore an outfit that was suitable for both the occasions of my office as well as the date or i can say the first meet !
I entered the place my mom had told me to go to! I am always punctual of time as i hate people who are late ! I entered and saw that the whole cafe was empty there was only one person sitting there who was wearing a black outfit as i didn't know who he was i went to the reception desk and asked !
"Hello ! Do you have a reservation in the name of Gauri bansal ! " I asked the receptionist.
"Yes mam ! That table right there where that man is sitting is your table !" She replied .
Ohh so i wasn't wrong he is the man who mom chose for me !
"Thanks !" I said and she replied with the as usual No problem .
I went straight to that table and sat down on the chair making him look at me .
"GAURI BANSAL ! You ? I said as soon as I sat without even glancing at him once .
"ADITYA SAINI !" He said and looked at me when i looked at him i noticed he looked shocked .
"We have meet before ! Haven't we ?" He asked putting his hands in his pockets and leaning back on his chair.
"Aditya bansal ! The hundred percent perfect doctor who couldn't rectify what was wrong with my mother ! Aren't you that person ?" I asked him raising my eyebrows.
"Indeed i am !" He replied taking his hands out of pockets .
"I don't forget things easily and i never forget things related to my mother !" I said looking at him now putting my hands in my coat's pocket .
"Is your mom fine now ?" He asked .
"She is diagnosed with stage two ischemic heart disease and I am still trying to find a doctor who can cure it as the hundred percent perfect doctor rejected it already !" I said with a smirk pasted on my face .
"I never rejected it ! I just couldn't rectify what was wrong with her. That is my sister - in - laws speciality you can visit her tomorrow i am very sure that she will and can cure your mother !" He said looking at me .
"I will visit her ! " I replied looking at him with still a straight face .
"Do you want to have something ?" He asked me .
"A coffee would be fine !" I replied looking at the waiter .
"Cappuccino, mach-!" The Waiter was listing out the menu when i interrupted her .
"Black coffee no sugar !" I told the waiter .
"Well I would have a black coffee too but with honey !" He told the waiter and smiled at her .
I hate it when people smile for no reason .
We both drank our coffees ! No one uttered a single word as i prefer silence and he was confused by my behaviour ! I preferred the silence and finished my coffee ! I did like that he noticed that i didn't want to talk and kept quiet some people just keep on blabbering even after knowing that the other person is not interested in their talks !
"So I guess ! This is it ! It was good meeting you ! I am getting late for a surgery so bye !" He said getting up from his seat and wearing his coat .
"Hmm ! Bye !" I said and he left i also got up from my seat and went outside got my car started and left from there ! We didn't have to pay as the restaurant was owned by my mother .
Aditya's pov -
I left from there as i did have surgery in an hour but i also left early because I knew my family would be set there to know the details about the meet .
She was very weird . She didn't smile ! She had no visible emotions on her face . From my experience it looked like she had faced something very terrible that made her like that and now she is afraid to show emotions .
She was not as bad as i thought when i read about her online on my way to the hospital . I got to know that she is a very private person . Not a lot was there about her . But yeah she did look scary !
I entered the hospital and as i told you they were there in my cabin !
"How was the date ? "Mom asked me rubbing her hands in excitement .
"It was okay mom !" I replied as i didn't want to break her heart saying that we didn't even talk much .
"Did you like the girl ? Should we continue with this proposal ?"Bhabhi asked me looking at me .
{ Bhabhi means sister in law }
"As you wish bhabhi because even if i say no you guys would still bring someone else again !" I replied looking at her .
"Okay i will talk to ms bansal and ask her about her daughter's opinion on my boring son ! " Mom said and left the cabin bhabhi was leaving too when i asked her and she stopped to reply .
"You treat people with ischemic right bhabhi ? "I asked her .
"Yeah I do ! "She replied looking at me .
"Why what happened ? "She asked
"Nothing one of my patients asked for some questions regarding it !" I lied to her .
"Okay send them to me !" She replied and left the room .
It's not like I said yes because I like her but as a doctor i can't see people suffering and her eyes were telling me the things that she was hiding ! She was suffering all inside her ! I wanted to help her get better because suffering can only lead to one thing that is either death by choice or death by stress !
In the meantime I got ready and left for the surgery .
On the other hand ~
GAURI ' S pov -
I went to my company and i knew mom would be there to ask about the date ! I entered my cabin and as i predicted to you all already ! She was there !
"How was the date ?" Mumma asked all excited as to what my answer would be .
"It was okay Mumma !" I replied looking at her .
"Thank God you didn't intimidate him with your scary looks !" She said looking at me and I pleaded guilty to that .
Yes ! I did do that once when she arranged a date and that man's focus was more on my body than something else !
"Should I continue with this proposal ?" She asked waiting for the answer to be yes .
"As you wish mumma !" I replied still with a straight face.
"You have no idea how happy i am today ! I will just go and talk to his mother about his opinion on my scary daughter ! " She said and left the room picking her phone up from the bed .
It's not that i asked her to do whatever she wants because I like him ! I said that because it made her happy ! I have never seen her being more happy for a proposal ever before and for her happiness i am even ready to jump of a cliff ! Marriage is a very small thing ! Plus i will make it clear the first day of our marriage about my terms and conditions .
What would happen when they get tied in this marriage?
Who will lean first ?
Does he really want to just cure her ?
What can be the reason of her condition ?
